Operations Manager at Pacific Architects and Engineers, Inc in Albion, MI
Team PAE supports the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) by providing care and placement of Unaccompanied Children (UC) transferred from the Department of Homeland Security. Team PAE provides an Emergency Intake Site at the Starr Commonwealth Complex to provide additional temporary capacity due to the recent and rapid increase in UC volume. The selected candidate will take ownership of all Operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position reports to the Program Director. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. DUTIES:
The Operations Manager acts as the Program Manager's principle operations representative Responsible for the management of all facility functions, including ensuring there are qualified personnel to meet staffing requirements, and the central planning, coordination, control, and actual performance of these functions Manages the facility functions and other assigned functions to ensure overall contract performance, which requires getting information to and from critical operating/supporting elements and directing/coordinating actions to ensure resources are fully utilized to properly perform the mission Monitors system readiness, identifies problem areas, and responds to mission requirements to perform contract requirements Directs and monitors the maintenance program Controls resources; monitors staff proficiency and qualifications; monitors staff endurance; monitors the locations and activities of assets; and coordinates the flow of information to and from staff Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience:
Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of operations management. Possess a minimum of ten years of experience in management, operations, and leadership. Demonstrated ability to manage required staff
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
