coordinates and provides all needed preventative, primary, acute and long term care services.
Primary Purpose The Charge RN role provides daily supervision and coordination of clinical services, provides general support for the day-to-day delivery of Clinical Care Services.
Accountability Chart Key Roles Ensure participant autonomy and dignity are respected.
Ensure successful completion of daily clinical care.
Triaging emergent situations and able to remain independent in the application of advanced nursing knowledge.
Monitoring acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with Primary Care Providers (PCPs).
Utilizing care plans independently to provide clinic and home-based direct care.
Administers treatments, procedures and medications as prescribed to participants.
Leadership, Management, Accountability (LMA) Duties and Responsibilities Provides supervision for the clinical care team by organizing and delegating their daily workload as needed.
Provides LMA independently and in partnership with the Associate Director of Nursing and Education.
Participates in meetings and provides support to the Associate Director of Nursing and Education with follow up.
Supports team members in completion of goals and development.
Oversee flow of day-to-day clinical care and provides backup coverage for clinical care staff.
Assists in developing and implementing written policies, procedures, and protocols governing the operation of the department.
Responsible for managing the payroll systems for all clinical care team members.
Maintains clinic inventory and equipment.
Handles medication recalls and works with the pharmacy team to ensure all medications are stocked and up to date.
Ensures all EEM is completed timely and accurately, and the physical clinic space is always audit ready.
Assists the Associate Director of Nursing and Education with standardization of policies and practices within the organization and department.
Attends and actively participates in center specific or organizational workgroups and/or committees as assigned.
Participates in after-hours administration on call and holiday nursing care rotation as needed.
Participation in recruiting and hiring as requested by Associate Director of Nursing and Education.
Assists in orientation and onboarding of new Clinical Care team members.
Assists in educating new processes and policies to all Clinical Care team members.
Routine monitoring of acute and chronic medical conditions following the participants goals of care.
Performs wound care and treatments as prescribed in the participants plan of care.
Administers medications, immunizations and other care as prescribed.
Performs assessments and actively participates in care planning.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no professional supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications RN-Nursing Diploma or Degree from accredited School of Nursing or University.
Two years of Charge Nurse experience preferred or any combination of other leadership or educational experience.
Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population Specific Requirements Possess current CPR certification by AHA or willing and able to obtain as offered by Senior Care Partners P.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between centers as needed; current valid Michigan driver's license and current valid vehicle insurance required.
Work Environment Has visible presence while working in the center and is subject to frequent interruptions.

Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays, as necessary.
May be subject to exposure and handling of infectious waste, diseases, conditions, or hazardous chemicals, etc.

You are eligible first of the month following 30 days of service.
All salaried staff receive 20 days of PTO accrued during the year, and non-exempt staff receive 18 days, in which you accrue right away.
You may start contributing to our 403(b) immediately, and after one year of service the company will match up to 3%.
After 90 day of employment you are eligible for a floating holiday at 8 hours, and receive one each calendar year thereafter.
All full-time employees receive the six major paid holidays.
