DescriptionPRODUCTION ASSOCIATEGeorgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Associates in Albion, MI! Production Associates play an integral part in maintaining the success of the plant by providing coverage and support for various machine centers throughout the plant.
Production Associates will find opportunities to move into positions with increased responsibility.
These positions will pay $20.
00 per hour!!Our Production Associates work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed in an unairconditioned, noisy, and high-volume environment.
Production Associates perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for at least eight (8) hours a day, up to 12 hours.
Must be flexible to work any shift - 2nd and 3rd as requested What You Will Do In Your RoleOperate equipment to defined standards and product specification targetsMonitor and/or entry into computer control systemsTroubleshoot equipment to optimize productionPerform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work areaWork as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goalsOperate and/or work around mobile equipmentMaintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environmentThe Experience You Will BringRequirements:
