Colson Group USA has an opening within Maintenance- 1st shift, Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday (as needed).
This role will focus on basic preventive maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair plant equipment and repair building issues.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in both AC and DC voltage.
General housekeeping of interior and exterior of building.
Work with outside contractors.
Keep work area neat and orderly.
Fabricate spare parts using general industrial equipment and hand tools.
Equipment move and installation.
Support production projects and be on site during scheduled hours.
All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner, with safety being the priority.
General computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet) Other duties as assigned.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS Two years industrial machine repair with a focus on CNC, welding, laser cutting, robotics, presses, shot blast, automation, and general assembly equipment.
Understanding of, and ability to use, hand and power tools (lathe, plasma cutter, drills, MIG welding, press brake etc.
)Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Ability to work with all departments in projects and improvements.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret schematics and blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Powered industrial vehicle licenses (fork lift and scissor lift)PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is required to stand, walk, and sit.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
