Administrative Assistant - Customer Care Associate (Albion, MI)

Essential Functions:
Maintain accurate and current records in various organization information systems including Raiser's Edge, Financial Edge, FileMaker, ADP, Certify, etc.
Work effectively with all administrative and advancement functions to ensure accurate reconciliation of information.
Maintain accurate and up to date central organizational files, including financial, development, historic, etc.
Provide customer service support including receiving and responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email, website activity, mail, etc.
Manages calendars, travel arrangements, communications including confidential and time sensitive materials and routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, reports, telecommunications, electronic communications, and files.
Provide administrative support to all central administration and advancement functions including data entry, spreadsheet and database work, filing, typing, word processing, proofing, mailing, ordering supplies and special projects.
Tracks and maintains a cost effective level of central office supplies. Serves as liaison to vendors on office equipment.
Exhibits punctuality to work, attendance, meetings, trainings and on other assigned duties.
Help to maintain a positive work environment for staff members and building effective teams.
Proactively seeks and participates in staff development opportunities to improve skills.
Recommends ways to improve workflows and administrative support processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Records are well maintained, up to date, and accessible for those authorized.

Key Qualifications:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
3 years of progressive experience in the area of office administrative coordination.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with a high degree of success.
Highly proficient Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Proficient in spreadsheet, database, and word processing computer systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to interact positively with customers, internal and external.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
