The title of this fresh piece is "Figs".It's an original painting. I used acrylic on paper. It's on paper which is matted with a 5 x 7 inch window within an 8 x 10 inch frame.I find signatures very detracting and sign all of my work ON THE BACK of the art.US Customers: Your purchase includes FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority MailPatrons outside the U.S.A.: Shipping price will be calculated. Those are the details about the artwork you're about to bid on. I greatly appreciate that you've considered buying something handcrafted, original, and real! Your uncommon aesthetic sensibility is becoming more and more rare by the nanosecond. When someone like you purchases original art from a human like me, culture lives on. When a person like you makes the effort to look for unique art rather than pre-programmed, mass-produced, duplicitous duplicates, you're quite literally saving civilization from itself. Way to go, hero!About Griz, the Artist:?I am not a robot. I'm a middle-aged creatureman. I currently live in southern Michigan. I sometimes teach college art history. I always, except for the summer, teach high school art and drive a school bus for a charter school that supports at-risk teenagers. I got my Bachelor's in Painting and Drawing from Biola University and my MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I love swimming, waves and water. I love the ocean and try to get inside one whenever I can. As a matter of fact, I even carry around a little vial of the Pacific Ocean with me at all times--it's not for creepy reasons like I'm a briny version of Dracula or something...I promise. I've got several creative irons in the fire. I make art like you're about to bid on here, and I also do fabric design and clothing. You might be able to summon examples of my other work by searching online for Beast Intentions.
